I,myself, have to wonder how you could even make any comment like that, especially knowing you don't even OWN any clutch from a HP manufacturer, let alone have driven one.
First your statement "you don't even OWN any clutch from a HP manufacturer"... . hey bubba look in my sig see the part that says "Pre-Fried TST"..... uh huh... . I had TST's 13" button clutch... . which I fried earlier this year at a sled pull in Cynthiana KY.
Hammer, YES you are correct I DO NOT OWN A SBC CLUTCH!

big shock :-laf
BUT I did intend to at first, however I'm still on the young and impatient side so when I purchased my #10 from a friend I couldn't wait that extra week from being able to afford a SBC Con O from the TST Button Clutch I got.

Anyhow I have spoken with Peter on many occasions, and each one being at great lenghts 30mins-1hr each anytime I call to ask him questions. He has always taken the time to make sure every question I have is answered, and he even gave me some pointers on the install of my TST clutch that he knew I was getting cause I swapped out flywheels with him cause I did my clutch swap on a Saturday with no-where to get my flywheel resurfaced.
Also I know SEVERAL people relatively closely that have SBC's and they are EXTREMELY happy with them. Some of them have had problems which Peter immediately corrects at little or no cost to the customer.
Also I am currently and have been researching dual disk clutches because like yourself I want a clutch that will HOLD and I would like to sled pull a couple of times a year.
The SBC DD's got off to a rocky start but that's the way it goes with R&D. I keep hearing better and better things from people who have these clutches which leads me to believe that Peter is getting the bugs worked out.
Anyhow before I write a book I'll just close in saying... ... you CAN make a valid comment with factual information.

Have a nice day!
