I'm a few thousand miles from home and my clutch peddle started clicking when applying. I looked at it and couldn't find where exactly it was coming from. Any body have this problem yet and should I worry about it?

Thanks

This may be the same problem I had with mine. When I put the clutch in I could feel a "click" in the linkage. I squirted everything with silicone but it didnt help. Anyway had a injector problem at about 1500 miles so I told the dealer to fix the clutch while he had the rig. When I got it back the problem was fixed. The work order said that they replaced the hydraulic slave cylinder that operates the clutch. This dealer must have a miracle worker who can change parts without taking them off the vehicle as the original cylinder had no marks or any evidence that it had ever been removed. Anyway its fixed and DC paid $260

Obviously he was, since you cannot replace individual components of the clutch hydraulic system. Master and slave must be replaced as a unit.

Sometimes my clutch pedal clicks, but it's harmless. I've driven a number of cars with clicking clutch pedals. I always figured it was just the clutch interlock switch actuating when you depress the pedal. Whatever.

Mine has had a click for quite some time - last time I took it to the dealer they said "unable to duplicate problem". Go figure. Anyway, it hasn't caused me any problems and I'll have then try again before I go out of 36,000 mile warranty.

Thanks for the reply's, plastic stuff that clicks makes me nervous. I sprayed it yesterday and it didn't help, today the rig has about 6" of powder snow on it so I'll wait a while and play with it a few more time, then ignore it.

Thanks again
