When I was in town the other day, I noticed that My truck would "jump" forward if I started it in gear but not in nuetral. When I was driving home, my transmission became very difficult to shift. I stopped at a light and could not get the transmission to downshift. The clutch pedal seemed to feel normal. I ended up having to shut the truck down, shift into gear, restart and limp home while shifting without the clutch. The first thing that came to mind was the clutch hydraulics. Today, I put my original factory hydraulics back on and that did not solve the problem, so the SBC hydraulics went back on. Now that I think back on it, I had some hard shifting a couple of weeks ago on my way back to Missery from Texas. I don't think it is the clutch hydraulics. The clutch was replaced about 40K ago. Unknown brand and I don't remember if they replaced the pilot and throwout bearings. Any thoughts?
