Anyone change the fluid in the clutch master and slave cylinder? It uses DOT 3 or 4 fluid but there isn't a bleed valve. Looked it up in my OEM manual and no proceedures for changing or bleeding the fluid. Only thing I found was if the system is low, you have a leak and need to change the whole set up (in so many words). Doesn't make sence. Seems like you would want to change the fluid at periodic intervals being it is just brake fluid.

Will go through the manual a little more thouroughly later to see if I missed something.

The clutch cylinder never sees the high temperatures the brake system does. Since it doesn't, there is no need to worry about the slight trace of moisture that may be in the fluid. And since it is all plastic or rubber parts there is no corrosion to worry about. So, no need to change the fluid.

I had to replace mine at 120,000. Was I ever suprised when I found the unit master cyl. , tubing and slave cyl. in one bag and already full of fluid. Apparently not much maintanence required.
