Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Just thought I would share this. I was in need of a clutch for my 93 and saw an ad in the tdr magazine. I called a price and talked to the manager Joe Dedrich, I told him that I needed it ASAP and he said when you call back ask for me and I WILL TAKE CARE OF IT AND MAKE SURE IT GETS SHIPPED TODAY. After getting the old credit card out I called Joe back and placed my order and once again was promised it will go out today. 5 days later and the day before my planned install NO CLUTCH. After 2 hours of calling (kept saying they would look into it and call right back and never did) it turns out JOE did not do anything with my order. With no offers to fix the problem other than to just ship it that day, I said keep it. Looked a little more and called SouthBend Clutch they did ship it that day and I got it the next business day. I got a better clutch for a little more money. But there service is second to none.
The moral of my story (in my opinion) is stay away from Standard Transmission. If you need a clutch the only place to call is Southbend Clutch!!
