Ok, 1500 dollars worth of clutch and all then they say it needs a slave and master cylinder, not hard to install. I put them on and now I have NO clutch pressure at all. I have tried to bleed the lines and fill the slave cylinder, still nothing, no pressure. I need help on this one as soon as possible, I need to go to work tonight. Hopefully someone can help out.

Thanks a million!!!!!!

the master and slave i put in was all one piece and worked perfect if yours was all one piece its probably defective . there is also 2 diferent sets for 5 speed or 6 . good luck tom wicks

Ok, apparently the slave cylinder push rod is too short, the transmission guy says that the rod is not being pushed in all the way to completely disengage the clutch causing it to slip. We are going to fabricate a new rod today and make it about 1/2" longer. We tested this theory last night and put a 1/2" piece of metal in the transmission on the end of the rod and engaged the clutch, it worked, so this is what we are going to try. If not, I am going to go the stealership and get the one piece assembled unit.

Any comments?

Jake

I tried getting around buying the assembly from the dealer but I could never end up getting the thing bled. I finally bougth the assembly after 2 new slaves and a master. I would try making a longer rod but if you have any problems just buy the assembly. I have not had any problems since and there is nothing worse than loosing your clutch.

Ok, heres what happened. I fabricated a rod that is 1/2" longer than the stock rod. I used the little black plastic ends from the stock rod on the new rod. I installed everything and jumped in and drove. The pressure feels good and the pedal travel is less. Not a bad idea. If I have problems I will go with the dealer thing, but I don't forsee and problems.
