Call Peter at Southbend Clutch. . He can recommend the proper clutch for the budget you have available. . Just let me tell you one thing: You will not find better customer service, and support. I have never had any problems with my SBC clutches, and would go no other way. . If you need any more help, feel free to PM me.

do it right the first time. southbend is what you want. you should also grind that plate and put it back in. cant remember what it is, but theres a part in the pump that can break if you dont run a plate.
 
what kinda clutch

do i need to hold the power. . lowest cost Im feeling poor

I was in the same boat when I had to buy a clutch (poor... ).

so, i went with the LUK cerametallic and re-drilled the flywheel to the larger pattern.

It works great, havent regretted it since. Cost me about half of what a Con OFE costs...
