I can't recommend SouthBend Clutch enough. THe Con OFE is what I ran in my 97 dually with over 400HP. It held everything I threw at it.

Three for three

Well Drew, you got three replies and three recomendations for SouthBend Clutch, I think you got your answer. LOL

I also will recommend SBC. I am on my second one. I installed the 3600 DD this time. I wanted to be able to pull a sled or two or three per year as well as pull heavy and add more power. I daily drive this truck and the clutch is great. Pedal feel is a little bit heavier but not enough to deter me. Depending on what the truck is going to be used for, I would seriously consider a DD.

Well I would say at least one more should to do it eh. South Bend Clutch is the proper clutch for the job.

Hey Blair, you meant one more after you right? :-laf

BTW: My SB DD clutch is over a year and a half old it was installed at around 330 rwhp and is still as new at just over 600 rwhp. And not only do the clutchs work, Peters' also an pretty ok guy! :D

any quick web links for the sb clutch i am going to start doing some sled pulling here in the next few weeks and just installed a #10 plate they were right the stock clutch wont hold up i also travle 300 miles a night and sometimes pull a 16' x 8' inclosed let me know what would be the best clutch for me the rest of my mods is in my sig.

Can anyone give any feedback on experience with the Mcleod dual disk's? Which Southbend would you guys recommend for daily driving? I am also considering a new clutch due to the fact that the button clutch I'm using makes it very difficult to back up a trailer and take off without bucking. It holds good though.

I drive it everyday with trailer, sometimes heavy loads, sometimes not and I have been told by Scheids I'm around 500HP, never dynoed though. Will be adding injectors and DV's sometime in near future. Just looking at all the options.

Thanks for any feedback.
