How many miles have you gotten out of your stock clutch? I have 135,000 on the stocker and it seems hold pretty well but I still have the stock plate:( I hope to upgrade to a #12 or #11 soon and I was wondering if the clutch will have to be upgraded as well.

I bought my truck with 122,000 miles on it and it still supposedly has the stock clutch. I bought it from friends that bought it when it was just a year old. So they have had it most of its life.

I now have 154,000 miles on it and its slipped a couple of times here and there when I've been hard on it, but its also pulled 14,000lbs without slipping.

I'd say with a #12 it'll still hold for a while, with a #11 it might wear out within a few months if your real hard on it. All depends on the driver;) :-laf

I got 185,000 out of a stock clutch.

I ran the #5 plate in it since 148,000.

Like others said it all depends on how you drive it.

70,000 miles with the stock plate followed by 42,000 miles with the #11, and the stock clutch is still holding. I can feel the clutch nearing the end of it's life, but as long as you don't abuse it, it should hold for a while with the #11.
