Does a second gen Ram have a larger bore clutch master cylinder?

first gen and second gen have different part numbers, but they appear identical on the outside.

I put a '95 NV4500 and bellhousing in my '92. I, of course, installed a '95 slave cylinder as necessary with the '95 bellhouisng and clutch throw out lever. It was driveable with the original '92 master cylinder, but it felt like you had to put the clutch all the way. to the firewall to completely disengage the clutch.

Later, I replaced both the slave and master cylinder. Since the '92 and '95 master cylinders looked identical, I didn't pay much attention to which one I installed. I still have to push the pedal all the way to the firewall. While there is some play in the linkage, and I've repaired some of that, there is no adjustment that I can find. I'm thinking I need to install the other master cylinder. My theory is that '95 might have a larger internal bore, because it has to move the clutch throw out lever a longer distance. i was just wondering if anyone could confirm before I take things apart again

I can help with the 2nd gen part but i can tell you this, I have a 93 with a 4500 in it but i used the conversion bell from advanced adapters so i have the stock 1st gen hydraulics and throw out system and i have to go most of the way to the floor for full release
