For the past few days, my truck has been trying to run over small import cars. I think my clutch cylinder is going out. The manual makes it look pretty easy to change out as a unit. Anyone changed one? Are there any unforseen land mines to be aware of? Special tools? Best price in town? At least it's plastic!!!

1 what are the miles on your rig???
2 Can you shut off the eng and depress the clutch and go thru the gears?? One by one????

I have 78,000 on it. It shifts fine but when I'm holding the clutch waiting for a hole in traffic, it'll start to pull. Then when I start to let the clutch out, it's already most of the way engaged. It's definately the master or slave cylinder bleeding back. It could get dangerous so it's parked until I can get a unit and replace it. It looks simple to change but you know how looks can be deceiving.
