On my way into work this morning either the clutch master or slave cylinder went out, got a little sporty at the stop lights. I went to NAPA and got both a new master and slave cylinder. Now I cannot get them to bleedout. I have the slave cylinder full but it is looking like the master does not want to bleed out.

Anyone change theirs cylinders out? How did you get them bleedout?

n7gxz, I got this from another post a while back.

" un-bolt slove cylinder form bell housin, take lid off resivour, you should have another person to help. "

Have 2nd person watch the resivour, the other person needs to go under neath and "slowly push the slave cylinder in and I mean slowly as person up top can watch for small air bubbles from the liquid... . "

Push slave rod in and let out very slowly probalbly 10 times unitl 2nd person can't see anymore bubbles.

"Put cap back on and bolt slave cylinder back into bell housing... . "

Well I finally got things to bleedout but the new cylinders did not fix the problem. It is looking like a clutch failure. I'll pull the transmission tomorrow and find out.
