I'm having clutch problems and have a pulsating clutch pedal also with only 550 miles on my truck. Frankster and COBRAJET I PM'ed both of you for some advice. thanks.

Have your dealer be on the look out for TSB 06-001-03. It is a new clutch disk. If you depress the clutch and the noise goes away, the new disk sounds like it should fix it.

Frankster- letting them put two transmissions in and getting the same noise as with the first one makes you look just as silly as the technician that (mis)diagnosed it!

getting the vibration when letting the clutch out... . how much throttle are you giving it? Try just idling it out like we do on the big rigs.

I don't hardly give any throttle on takeoff if I'm not pulling anything... . but the pulsating/vibration comes mainly during upshifts.

Hey, where did you find info on that TSB? I'd like to read about it. Thanks.

I have the same problem on a brand new 04 truck. Clutch noise after engaging the clutch and most noticable in 1st thorugh 3rd gears (probably because you can hear it at slower speeds). The dealer is going to put in a new clutch, I havent paid them and wont until it is fixed. Not a huge deal probably, and may go away with use, but I'm not taking a chance.
