My clutch pedal catches several times throughout its full travel. I thought after 5k miles it would loosen up, but that has not been the case. Anyone else have this problem?

JRS,

Unusual comment and observation.

Recommendation. Engine off, push clutch pedal several times, listen at various points pedal assy, at firewall, under truck at trans for any possible noise source, investigate a little bit, but sounds like warranty at dealership. Get it fixed or documented.

I don't know of a reason that you would have any hiccups in the pedal stroke on a 5,000 mile truck.

Do you feel it in the pedal or hear it or both?

Good luck.

Noise is under the dash, it feels like the clutch arm is sticking in certain spots. I have a barely audible squeak during clutch activation, but sounds like a squeak from non-lubed plastic and not non-lubed metal. This would make sense since the clutch arm appears to be composite. Backing up small distances (lining up under the goose neck hitch) can be challenging.

will call the dealer tomorrow.
