clutch petal mod

does anyone have any good ideas on modifying the clutch petal so that a shorter person could reach it my wife is 5'1'' and has a hard time driving my 03 ctd. she can reach the break and the throttle fine but the clutch just has to much movement for her to drive comfortably. thanks.

give this a try... left foot only. or the white one, if the black ones not enuf.

actually, along the lines of what tp0d suggested, you can get pedal covers that fit over the clutch pedal. poor example, but I've seen them in Walmart as a chrome piece that slides over the pedal to give it a "racing" look. Might bring the pedal out an inch if that. fwiw

My wife is 5' and doesn't have a problem driving the truck, she puts the seat all the way forward.
