Has anyone had a problem with the hydralic clutch on an 05 . I am visiting Dayton Ohio when I lost my clutch. Pedal to the floor. Took it to adealer, Voss on Saturday. no part, had to be ordered from CD. Due in Thursday. Sound familar or is this a freak occurance. They said that a seal was twisted when assembled and air got into the system. No way to bleed the system . Due back in Ct. Sunday. Bummer

It sounds like very rare occurence to me.

I remember one or two in the five years that I have been with the TDR.

I'm sorry it happened to you though. :(

Voss is where I bought my truck, and I've had some minor service done there. The service manager is a good man, and they've got a good diesel tech there. One word of advice: inspect the vehicle carefully before leaving the dealership to ensure nothing has been damaged.

What broke, exactly? Slave cylinder? Master cylinder? If you're in the area for awhile and want to talk trucks, I'd be amenable to that.

-Ryan :)

the seal in the slave cylinder was twisted allowing air to get into yhe system and there is no way to bleed it. lousy desiign maybe. hope this is the onlyproblem
