Where to buy fuel additive?

My clutch wont hold no more. I guess thats a good problem. But what I want to know is what clutch will hold my power without buying to much clutch. Read "Spend to much". I wont be adding any more power except for an HX-35 when I get a housing. I drive this truck every day to work and do not tow or pull with it. (anymore) Just drive it like I stole it. Check RR for details.

I beg to differ on the LuK ProGold- it held less than stock clutch with 225K on it. Only mod to the engine was a 12cm housing and some tuning on the pump. Peak boost was ~25psi.

Anyway, I'd stick with stock if it were mine. It doesnt sound like you have any stump pulling torque output. I believe Bill Glibert's held 400hp. Are you sure it's the clutch and not the adapotr sleeve? I ordered the LuK clutch only to find the sleeve stripped and the clutch in great shape. But with a 30% restock fee at Rocky Mountain Clutch, and the great things they had to say about the LuK, I put it in anyway.

How are you engaging the clutch? You should let up on the pedal, let the truck get rolling, then start adding fuel from the long skinny pedal.

That's good advise. This is how you get the stock clutch to hold 1000ftlbs.

Thanks for all the input fellas. Daniel: Not sure what thats about. Are you suggesting that "Sleeve" is bottoming out before all the clutch force is applied. I haven't had it apart so I cannot speak well of the parts inside. As for the Drive it like I stole it comment. I'm easy on the clutch and Getrag, But I like to USE :D the power between shifts. The slippage I get is when for instance, Stuck behind a 5 car train of dingbats doing about 50. If I roll into it hard to pass it will slip at 1500 R's. Once im at 18-19 and fuel hard it doesn't slip so much.

I'm still listening so keep it coming.

adaptor sleeve between transmission and t-case. Or are you a 2wd? but from what you say, it sounds like you are slipping.

I went the overkill route and installed the Southbend 13" Con O. The pedal is lighter then the stock clutch and it engages SMOOTH. Shifting seems quicker/easier. I rebuilt the trans at the same time, so it could be from the combination of both. It wasn't much more $ than the stock Sachs once the new flywheel was factored in. If I wasn't planning on towing with this truck, I would have either gone with the Southbend Rally clutch or the stock Sachs.

I do a consider amount of towing with my 92 dodge with the luk and im doing a conversion useing a luk , six States Distributing sells luk clutches ,

and is the stock replacemen for dodge they have boosted clutches avalible

the Pro gold is rate for over stock , talk to distribuor before you judge

personally why in the world would a person want to put a $900. 00 clutch in a

pick up on the street ,

If any one ever was around ken worth and peterbilts and such $900. 00

is more than a double disc for a class 8 truck , think about it , your getting ripped off but if you got extra bucks to share my hand is open !!!!!!!!!!!!

and ill gladly give you a tax donation receipt

I did talk to the distributor and that is why I bought it (ProGold) in the first place. I dont think the one I got was as good as the stock clutch I took out. I am in no way trying to bash the company, just sharing my personal experience with them. Same as the EDM injectors I got- if someone asks, I will share. But, I am glad to see someone is happy with them. Maybe they have gotten their act together in recent years. The clutch I got was in 2002.
