Clutch slave cyl.

I read in one of the previous issues about replacing the slave and master for the clutch in my 2004. 5 and I didn't do it when I put in the new clutch. That was about 15,000 miles ago. Now, every now and then the clutch won't completely release. Kind of a problem at a stop light. Issue number and suggestions. No leaks and full of fluid. Thanks Eric

How many miles are on the truck now? Try bleeding it and see if that gets you in the right direction.

He helped me out on a clutch symptom (different from the OP)... I removed and bench bled it and it solved my problem.

Mine is starting to do this a bit too. I'm going to try the bleeding since that old discolored fluid can't be working like new any more.
I see on the South Bend website that they recommend installing their HD master/slave system with a new clutch but my installed didn't bring it up. That was about 35K ago.
Anybody know what the difference is between the stock and HD setup is?
