Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) clutch slave cylinder

For all you fellow 5-speed owners, is there any type of maintenance we're supposed to do on this (the small round reservoir holding the fluid). Is this brake fluid?

The clutch slave is bolted to the transmission. The clutch MC is on the firewall. Shouldnt be any maintenance besides keeping fluid in the resovoir although if its losing fluid then you need to replace whatever is leaking. Brake fluid or other hydraulic fluid works great.

It's a sealed unit so you can't even flush it like you do the brakes. :{

GAmes, hey man - 350K?? Nice to see high miles on another 12 valver :-laf although you got me beat. You have to do any engine work yet? I hit 200K & still clatterin' on! Oo. I love it! Hope to hit 350 also & by that time you'll be in the Half Mil Club. Carry on... Mike
