hello,

this is what i have going on. i know the clutch will slip if i get into it pretty good. but i have started to notice when i am driving down the road 65-70mph and go to pass someone. when the boost comes up while you are getting around them the truck will almost feel like its shuddering. then soon as the boost drops back down below 30-35 it smooths back out. i was curious if the clutch could be causing that feeling or if it were something else. it never did it in the past and the only changes made is i went from the 25-30 psi from the stock turbo to the 50+ that the usb is giving me, and the clutch that is now slipping under the added boost. what is it? i know someone else has delt with this before. i would appreciate what ever help you are willing to give me. thanks

Sometimes you can be right on the edge of slipping so it will slip and then grab. This can give a shuddering feeling and also produce a noise. From the sound of it, i would think you need a new clutch. I would lean torwards South Bend Clutch. I'm going to be installing a duel disc this weekend and can let you know what it is like.
