What to do I have a 2001. 5 HO 6 Speed it has 11,234 miles on it and today the clutch started slipping and I meen it slippes in 4th 5th and 6th gears if I get over 1,300 RPM's it starts slipping. #ad

I have a K&N RE-0880 and 25-0880 cover and A 3" straight pipe no box's "yeat" I did not run on the dyno yesterday and I had NO clutch slip yesterday. What should I do? #ad

Wow!!! I knew the OEM clutch was wimpy but this is ridiculess: #ad
. I would take it to the dealer and see if you can get it fixed under warranty. The mods you've done so far isn’t enough to slip the stock clutch, so I would surmise that there's something wrong with your clutch. My OEM clutch held with the Power edge on hot #3. Good luck #ad

Cliff, sorry to hear about your clutch and I agree with the above, get it back and repaired under warranty, unless you are going to add more HP in the future. If your thinking the latter, then go to A. W. D. for the Mcleod install.

Cliff, like posted above, get to the dealer and get it documented as to the slipping before the 12,000 mile mark. then as the dealer tries to figure it out let the milage roll.

Plus the fact I pull heavy quite a bit and have had no slip what so ever..... Pete
 
my clutch went out at 12,437mi it lost the lining on the pressure plate side. (defective) better crawl under it and look, I had pieces of the lining coming out the holes in the bell housing.

Up date I went to my local Dodge dealer yesterday and the clutch still slipped but not as bad service rep. took the truck for a ride and said the clutch was shot but did not slip #ad
So it goes in on Thursday the 17th to get a new clutch. Today I drove the truck and no slip the only thing I can think is I had the truck parked on a steep hill had to back up it in 4wd could some oil have leaked out and onto the clutch?
It's like the truck wants to fix it's self #ad
