Within the past few months I received a postcard describing a class action lawsuit involving the clutch safety interlock switch installed on certain Chrysler 2006- 2007 model year vehicles with manual transmissions. I am surprised that I can't find any discussions of this on the TDR forum as it may pertain to 2006-2007 Dodge Rams. Does anyone else know anything about this? Also, I am surprised that the part manufacturer is being sued over their alleged faulty part instead of Chrysler. Seems convoluted to go after the part maker instead of the vehicle manufacturer. It seems like there should have just been a Chrysler recall to replace the faulty switch on affected trucks with manual transmissions. The suit is titled "Rickey Royal et al vs. Stoneridge, Inc.
