Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Clutch Torque values

Hey, I am installing a clutch in my 97 and I don't have the torque

specs. Would any of you wild bombers (oop's should'nt say that)

have them for the pressure plate and the flywheel? Thanks Harlan

pressure plate = (clutch cover) =

5/16 bolts = 17 ft. lbs

3/8 bolts = 30 ft lbs

a little bit at a time in a "star" pattern



Fly wheel = 101 ft. lbs in a criss cross pattern

Thanks, that is what I need. My Commings moter book stops at the back of the block.

Just hook up the big impact gun, crank it to full blast, and squeeze the trigger

for a few seconds... That's what I did, even though I am sure they dont condone it, but oh well. so far, so good!
