Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) clutch trouble

just got my new SBC con ofe put in and now I'm having trouble getting it in to 1 and 2 and reverse. With my stocker still in I never had any trouble. Had my local dodge place put it in. could it be because it is not broke in yet. Or is that the way the clutch is going to be.

I think if I where you I would contact Peter at South Bend about this now before it goes too much further. He'll take care of you and tell you exactly what to do. It could be installed wrong or any number of things. You should get in touch with Peter.
