If your memory is better than mine, you will remember I posted a question a while back regarding a vibration in my clutch pedal while depressing it.

Took ownership on 2/6/03 of a new HO, 6sp, 3. 73 {currently at 4,500 miles} and the truck acted like a truck should. Soon after I would notice a vibration in the clutch pedal with the frequency much like that of ABS brakes.

This vibration could be felt throughout the depression travel.

Only noticeable as I shift up through the gears and not down through.

Some gears more noticeable than others 5th into 6th is the worst.

Definitely noticeable while under a load.

Here is where it gets weird. Starting last Friday night it quit making the vibration to the point I almost cancelled the appointment. What is significant about Friday? It temperature dropped below freezing until Monday. As I look back since Feb 6, the truck has only acted up when it is really cold. Yesterday it was 62 degrees in the afternoon... vibration is back.

Final thought... while coasting down the road in neutral/idle I don't feel the vibration. Rev the engine to 2000 rpm, I feel the vibration.

I would think it is in the clutch/pressure plate? Bad Spring? Out of adjustment? No exactly sure what type of clutch the 03 has.

Sorry for the long post:(

Thanks PD

At this point in time, I am not concerned that I will get the run around. Nolf Dodge in Fairmount City have been very good to us and they have some great mechanics. :D
