I have a Southbend 13" OFE in my 99 dodge with cummins and NV 4500. My clutch does not always release and pulls the engine down and then there is a slight bang and all is fine. Sometimes I must shutdown to get transmission in gear. This is intermittent it is not always a problem. There are about 5,000 miles on the clutch. There is always pressure on the clutch when depressing and no leaks around master or slave cylinders. It is getting spooky coming to stops so Help please. . any ideas?

[the slave or master cylinder may be leaking around the pistons. if thats the case it wont show any sign of leakage.

I am not sure how to work this message thing yet but I did call Peter at SBC and he is pretty sure I screwed up the pilot bearing... so as soon as I can I will do the dreaded job all over again and let you guys know how I fared, thanks for the help.
