code 0148 WHY!!!

I know i've gotten this code before... . but i forgot why.

it is generally low rail pressure but is can also be caused by the fass or aftermarket lift pump putting to much fuel and having to small of a return line. Mine was throwing that code and II replaced the spring in the fass pump with a smaller one and that fixed the problem so far. no more codes yet but just had it done.

It's just a generic fuel code which means it could be just about anything fuel related.

My truck threw the code this winter while towing 12,000 lbs in -21F and the biodiesel started to settle out of the fuel. The fuel was gelling.

Seems the 06's are natorious for throwing the p-0148 code when heavy fueling demands are made such as towing up mountains with heavy loads or such.
