Just driving my truck today engine light came on had no power checked code

p0299 code I have o5 cummins g56 w/ hot juice, afe stageII 4" magnaflow muffler and htt64-14 turbo I forget what that code means "fuel delivery? I think" I drive it home on the hwy egt didnt get over 744 with my foot to the floor unpluged the batteries code stays on. It has no power but doesnt get hot like its not gettin power . Any one been here?

Its a "low boost code" from the bigger turbo. At cruising speeds the bigger turbos cant keep boost up so the ECM thinks there is a boost leak somewhere and really derates the engines output to keep EGT's in check. Just to remind you some of the 05's have plastic intercoolers that could crack and should give you this code see if your intercooler end tanks are plastic and look for cracks/splits.

The 299's are a pain and happen when just tooling along or driving real slow.

You need a programmer to clear that (Bully dog).

I have used an OBD2 code reader/clearer and couldnt get the code to clear after numerous tries I just had to settle for a few start/stop cycles for it to go away (out of town towing a huge trailer to Vegas in the middle of nowhere!), but like Justin said get a BDDL, it can clear the code.
