Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Code 1693

I have found the code definitions for code 1693 but could anyone tell me in plain english what could have caused this code to pop up? truck seems to be running fine, i can tell a little difference in throttle while driving but nothing major, am i paranoid?

okay got another question, it is still showing the code 1693, but when it cycles on thru, it says P-Done then ------- is shown does that mean it has not thrown that code anymore and has cleared?
