Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) code 252 and rough idle stalls and does not rev above 950 rpm

trying to figure out what this code is hard starting and idles rough max rev 900 rpm and sounds like hitting rev limiter i changed the fuel filter and appears to have plenty of fuel pressure

this is on a 99 3/4 ton auto trans

That is what my SMARTY manual says.



I've never heard of that on TDR.

this truck is not part of mine that is why it isnt in sig block but it is a stock 99 w/ 150k on it (I am Spending soneone elses money on this )

As to the pump bad that is what i was thinking. I went to cummins website without ser number and tried to look code up was going back to oil level sender fault but not sure if these have that, and all of these codes for 252 did not affect performance from what i can tell. THANKS FOR THE HELP
