Code 488 after deleting

08' megacab dually 4x4 with 115,000 miles, deleted at 110,000 with a smarty jr, I get code 488 about once a week, clear it with the smarty jr and then it's fine for awhile and comes back, the smarty says EGR Airflow Throttle Control Circuit



I'm beginning to wonder if I need to do something since it is not staying cleared



did a search and only found one thread which discussed cleaning and did not expand to cover deleted trucks

Did you unplug the throttle body?

I have no idea, I hired it done, htey downloaded a Smarty and tool the exhaust off and replaced it with a pipe, he's a couple of hours away, can I found a picture of a unplugged throttle body?

its the big aluminum piece in the intake system right before the airhorn that connects to the motor... . connector mostly underneath it pionting at the motor. you also can goto smartys site and look up Smarty for Dummies and will explain.
