anyone know were i can find some info on devices to check codes with, i have seen the quick checks on the cummins web page but is there any thing else out there that is better, if so were can i find one, thanks
Ever try just switching the key on/off three times to get the codes? Then just disconnecting the batteries for 15-30 minutes to erase the codes? The service manual lists all the codes (plus you can find them online) and this is cheaper than buying a code reader. Someone might chime in here as there may be codes that won't erase by disconnecting the batteries. I have not had one that wont but doesn't mean there isn't one. My . 02.
