I did the key flash 3 times to see if I have a violation  and yep sure enough I do :D It says P-1693 and what ever it is I am the proud owner, I hope it means I have exceeded maxium torque limits known to man :p but I'm betting it's high boost since I lent my edge ez to my buddie and left the boost elbo on, I can still obtain 24-26 lbs and without the chip there to hide my crime it poofe showed up, so its been nice knowing you guys and I will see ya in torque jail, I hope Bubba ain't there that soap is slikery.

What's the code mean and how do I get ride of it??? ... ... ... ... ... ... ... . Kevin

Whitmore, I had the same thing happen when my EZ went bad. After I cycled the key 3 times it disappeared from the screen, but still resides in cyberland somewhere. I just ignore it. (Mainly because I'm too ignorant to figure out how to eliminate it without taking it to the stealer)

Whitmore,

P1693 is a generic code that pops up when both the ECM and the PCM pick up the same problem. Hooking up a scan tool will reveal the real trouble codes. You set it by disconnecting your EZ and then taking your truck above 20psi of boost. It may go away on it's own as long as you leave the EZ hooked up, but sometimes they stay there and the only way of clearing them is with the scan tool.
