Code P0193

Yesterday while idleing, my truck "missed" a couple times and then was fine. This morning in the McD's drive thru. truck started running poor, rattling like an old garbage truck and low power, Check engine light came on. Code was a P0193. Called dealer said it was rail pressure voltage too high.

I had my edge EZ on level 1 and took it off, so far no problems. Edge says sounds like a problem with the EZ..... BUT... . Warranty expired in Nov last year... Lucky me. .



Anyone else have this happen????

That's the code mine threw when my lift pump quit. It hiccupped on the freeway and an hour later it just died driving down the street.
Just curious, does the Edge use fuel pressure on the lower numbers?
The Triple Dog uses rail pressure only on Performance and Extreme, and only at rpm's above about 2500.

The EZ does just fuel pressure only. . Have not had any problems since monday when I took box off. CHeck engine light went out, but code still in there when I checked.
