Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Code P0406

[Sick Boy]

My truck is throwing code Po406 which is EGR position sensor volts too high. What does this mean? What problems does this cause?

That is a new one me. I did not think the 01's had an EGR system... Or is the EGR not "Exhaust Gas Recirculation" on diesel, as it is on gassers and the third gen diesels?
