Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Code P1693

I just checked codes on a used truck I just bought. The returned code was P1693 Tis is what is means, can someone translate into English for me. I had problems with the apps and disconnected the batteries a few days ago and rest the APPS. does this have anything to do with this error? Thanks for your help

control module.

A 9Companion DTC9 was set in both the ECM and PCM.

A generic "catch all" code that MIGHT not mean a thing - I can get that one by switching the ignition on and letting my truck roll into my garage without the engine running. Might get one of the auto parts houses put a code reader on it to look for deeper more specific codes...

My check engine light came on yesterday. I cycled the ignition 3 times and got the P1693 code also. Talked to the dealer service manager today and have an appointment Monday to be checked. He said possible injection pump problem since the lift pump was just replaced 4,000 miles ago.
