Attention: TDR Forum Junkies When I turn the ignition key 'on-off-on-off-on' I get a P1765 code.
Checking the manual on Page 25-17 gives two possible reasons,
either
a, An open or shorted condition is detected in the Transmission Relay control circuit. This relay supplies power to the TCC
or
b, Current state of solenoid output port is different than expected (4 speed auto trans, only)
Only mod to the transmission is a pressure lock, makes the torque converter lock up in 3rd at around 35 mph.
System works fine, no problems, just I'm courious.
