NEVER SEEN IT OR HEARD OF IT BEFORE , LOW TURBO BOOST. I PEDAL WAS DEAD AND COUNDN'T GET ANY BOOST , CHECKED EVERYTHING , TRIED SEVARAL TIMES TO CLEAR THE CODE, UN-PLUGED ALOT OF CONNECTION TO INSPECT AND THEN PUT THEM BACK TOGETHER AND TRID AGIAN SEVERAL TIMES TO CLEAR THE CODE - JUST WOULDN'T CLEAR , I GAVE UP AND WHEN I WENT TO MOVE THE TRUCK 10 MINUTES LATER IT WAS FINE , I DROVE IT FOR 40 MILES AND NO PROBLEM, RUNS GREAT , NOW I WANT TO KNOW WHAT CAUSED IT AND WHAT I CAN DO TO PREVENT IT IN THE FUTURE ?

1. your MAP sensor lost contact with the computer

2. your FASS had a hiccup and wasnt pushing enough fuel.

YOUR PROBA RIGHT , I CALLED SCOTT AT MASSDIESEL AND IT WAS AFTER HOURS AND AS ALWAYS HE WAS TRYING TO HELP ME , TOLD ME TO TRY A FEW THINGS AND EVEN OFFERED TO COME GET ME , THATS A HOUR RIDE FOR HIM , BUT LIKE I SAID IT FIXED ITSELF BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT MASSDIESEL IS SECOND TO NONE ... Oo.

Its caused by your turbo. The ECM thinks theres a boost leak because usually while cruising your bigger turbo isnt pushing enough boost pressure while cruising compared to the stocker and when you get in the right circumstance the ECM will cut back most of your fuel theoretically keeping egt's in check if there was a boost leak. usually 3 consecutive times running it will go back to original power. Its a random code that happens to alot of people here with larger turbos, I have it happen all the time when I tow (never happend empty though) I just clear it with the smarty and Im back on the road.

well i don't have a smarty, and i couldn't clear it with my little scanner so i borrowed and superchip and a mac tool scanner and i couldn,t clear it, after trying for a dozen times or so i gave up and when i came back 10 minutes later to limp back home it was fine and i have about 150 miles on it and its back to normal and running great , so how do i prevent it from doing it again and how can i clear it faster ?
