I have never seen this happen. driving down the highway, truck started to accelerate then went to idle. dead pedal. pulled over shut off, restarted, ok did it again 5 minutes down thte road. codes

0622

0743

0500

1765

1693

dont mind the lockup codes its from having a lockup switch.

this is also the order they came out. I could see it derating with a bad speed sensor but not accelerating, weird

the only code that would affect anything is the 0500 which is the vehicle speed sensor, I just cant see it accelerating before it derates. no apps codes.

It may be possible for the 0500 code to cause what happened. Keep driving, hopefully it won't happen again. If it does make a mental note of all conditions and check codes again. Something will make sense at some point.

Godspeed,
Trent

If the roads were slick, and you spun your tires that could cause the 0500 code.

I know this doesn't help with the truck sputtering, just thought that might have been where that code came from.
