I am also curious about this. I have a 99' and tried the "3 quick turns of the key to the 'ON' position" method and got nothing.

Jason

CumminsPuller, The 99s won't scan for you. Others use the on/off/on/off/on with the key and the codes display in the odometer. Autozone will usually scan for codes for free.

Alan... ..... thanks for the info about AutoZone. I have always disliked that companies parts. To cheaply made in my opinion. But it sounds like a good deal if they will scan for free.

Jason

Tim, it sounds like what the guys are saying is that your 98. 5 will not do the 'Key' trick either. Want to go to AutoZone? You bring the douhgnuts:D Oo. :D Oo.

Thanks all for the replies. Guess what? I just call autozone

and here in the land of fruits, nuts, flakes and complete idiots

Places like Autozone are not allowed to preform this public

service :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

Something about CARB and repair shops complaining

about loosing business:{ :{ :{ :{

This place deserves to fall off into the great Pacific ocean!!!!

I've got to take mine back to the Dodge dealer anyhow for them to "enable" the high-idle TSB that was flashed into my computer last year but was never enabled at that time. I'll sweet-talk them into pulling any codes that are out there while they're plugged in.

Oh... and I won't forget the donuts!
