Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) cold air

Hey guy I'm new to diesels I have owned a 2001 now for 30 days its a 4x4 auto it had a fass pump and Maga Flow 4 in exhaust on it when I bought it. I have added a Edge Juice box and AFE Stage 7 air cleaner. Now that it is 20 degrees the truck temp stays on 140 degrees blacked half of the raditor with card board and not much help. Do I need to block more or installed a new thermostat? My guess is a termostat. Thanks in advance

My truck runs at 180F + or - no matter the OAT. Must be the thermastadt?

Yup... . thermostat is sticking open. Replace it.
