Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Cold Idle Engine Warming TSB for 24v

I am wondering about the 18-019-01 TSB for 2002 trucks. It is for cold idle engine warming. Has anyone had this TSB done to their 24v truck. I am wondering what you all think about the changes this makes.

High Idle TSB

I had mine done and it works ever sooo gooood. 31 degrees outside and she will ramp up after the oil pressure gets up to 1200RPM`s no problems

Yep! Works awsome. Last weekend I when out and started my truck torned the Ebrake on and went back into the house. I came out 10-15 minutes later and to my suprise truck was idleing at 1200 rpm's with the brake engaged! I didn't even know the truck had it enabled! Very nice indeed!

I'm at work right now, and my truck is outside firing away at 1200rpm on 3 cyliders. With the remote start, it is a great combination!

mavrick1 - your truck already has the program installed since it's a 2002 you just need to get it enabled but that is the hardest part. You need to find a dealer that has a clue and they can do it. I would suggest getting a copy of the TSB and bringing it with you so you can show them how to enable the program. that is what I had to do.

3 cylinder Idle

Just make sure you do not have a weak heart when it goes into three cylinder idle mode!!!! SNOKING
