Cold Idle Reflash

Hi Guys & Gals I`m a newbee and this is my first post. So please bear with me. First off Incredibly Great Site I`ve been tuning in for a few months now and joining wasn`t an option it was a must. Now My question? Is There a certain fix for a failed Cold Idle Reflash TSB 18-019-01 I think my dealer may have screwed it up as they left two codes in there P500,P1694 Show up on key cycle But the check engine light is not on. Just curious, Guy got real defensive when I told him it didn`t work. Thanks

won't work either. We flashed it three times and no go. Gonna buy one that works from Gordon Cummings in Great Falls.

Had mine done awhile ago and have been checking out how it works. A few things i've noticed: You do set codes during the reflash and need to go clear them, nothing serious. Also all codes will not turn on the CEL. If you step on the brake or the throttle it won't idle up for awhile. I've never had three cylinder idle, but I always use the block heater and I don't let the truck idle a lot. At times I start up, let oil pressure come up, go about a mile and stop at the local store for something and when I come out it's on high idle.



I haven't figured out the logic of the program for when it works, at this point. At first I thought it didn't work but as time went on I realized it does.



I still tend to use my high idle solenoid that I installed when I got the truck.
