LUV this truck. Nearly 250,000 miles and going strong. OK, now to the question. I'm seriously thinking about having a remote starter kit installed on my 1995 truck with ATM however... ... ... . I have several questions -
1. When cold the engine doesn't "fast Idle". I have to hold the throttle partialy open for 10-15 seconds or else it'll bog and sometime stall.
2. On really cold days "wait to start" light takes 7-15 seconds before going out. Additionally, the grid heaters cycle frequently (I know this is common and I understand why) but, will this interfere with the remote start, i. e will this delay be a problem? The system I'm looking at can be programmed for a delay but I'm worried about the truck not starting or ideling properly on cold days.
As always your thoughts and suggestions are welcomed.
