These cold mornings, my TC doesn't wan't to lock up and stay that way for quite a few miles. Is this an issue if I use the switch to keep it there? ( I mean will I hurt something? ) I have cleaned the contacts on the temp sensor, and assume it is working fine, have gauges all around, It's definitively not warm yet when this is happening , under 110 degrees.

It's my second season with the old dog, Jasper transmission installed at the beginning LOL. I've upgraded it some with shifty parts, so I can get uphill with a load on.

The issue arose last winter, and hit me again a frosty morning this week. I messed with the tps to no real solution last winter Then it went away in the spring. I know the temp sensor keeps it from locking till a certain temp, just wondering if I should go down that road... or just plan on slushy shifting when it is cold.
