Any one elses truck seem to run rough during cold weather? More chattering and has alittle more hesitation? Also, does anyone get white smoke for a while when the truck is first started in the cold weather? Makes me think of a bad injector

Its normal to get white smoke when the engine is cold, but my truck don't run rough. How rough is it... a slight miss, stumble, hesitation... . please explain.

It just seems to not run as smooth latley. Had the smarty on and thought it might be part of the timing and cold weather turned it on sw4 no timing and it still about the same. Some times like when I get back in the throttle seems to be a slight stumbe.

And there is more engine noise, even when warmed up . The other day it was warmed up and I ran the rpms up to about 2 thousand and held them there a second and it whould stay there but seemed to hesitate every once in a little. It may be that Im worring over nothing. But I notice pretty much notice every little noise. Thanks

for advise.

Possibly a fuel filter? Thats the first thing that I would try... . they can get plugged quick. Have you checked for codes? What is your fuel pressure readings when stumble occurs?

fuel filter changed about three thousand miles ago. I don't have a guage just a low pressure warning light. Only codes I ever get are the p602 and a p500 .
