Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Well guys, after going trick or treating last night with the little ones in subzero temeratures, I completely forgot to plug in the truck. It was about -6 degrees fahrenheit this morning at 5:45 and I'm happy to say that there was no problem starting. The other issue I forgot about is that the fuel in it is straight#2 so I was probably lucky that it wasn't all gelled up .
The cold weather features which I had enabled last year continue to work as advertised. The truck slowly ramped up to 1200 RPMs a couple of minutes after startup and then about a minute after that it cut fuel to 3 of the cylinders which temporarily drops the RPMs back down but then it ramps back to 1200 on 3 cylinders. About 10 minutes after startup, I had heat and the windshield was defrosted.
I know there were some dealers out there that couldn't figure out how to turn this feature on last year, but if you find one like Billion Dodge here that can, it really works well!
