Welcome back JMC - I'm Sam and yes I'm the RMTDR Pres, however the fellas are right that there hasn't been much activity in here and that is due likely in large part to my lack of participation and event generation. We're building a house and my work has been tiresome, so my time has been stretched quite thin - I haven't done much of anything even my own projects, and to all my TDR brothers and sisters I am truly sorry for my lack of leadership. Between loving married life, trying to enjoy the toys, and building the house, I'm happy to relenquish my role if someone's up to the challenge and has the energy and time. However... in time I'll get back in the saddle and I'm happy to restoke the fire and generate some big smoke signals again. The RMTDR Chapter has some seriously good folks and some seriously strong rigs, and I'd love to try to get the ball rolling again.
That said, I'd definitely like to get a 'Springs local gig together and do a big rig lunch meet-and-greet. My wife and I own three Cummins rigs (all 1st gen-powered) and we'll try to bring all three... . but we'll need to borrow a driver or two:-laf. Once the house is up I may re-start my wrench days at the ranch - doing pumps and tune-ups, etc. We've had some fun gigs in the past.
One thing I'd really like to get back into is a Christmas Party. Maybe I can honcho that or delegate to someone who has some time to devote to it?? Anyone want to work it?
Anyways, yes there is a chapter and yes there are great folks in it, and yes... it needs a jump start. So, I'll try to pump it back up, and with y'alls help we'll get 'er rolling.
