Calling Tweaker!! Calling Tweaker!!

The date for the Colorado Charity Dyno Day has been set, October 1st! We are trying to plan way ahead this year in hopes of getting more corporate sponsors involved and give small businesses more time to plan!

What I need is charity suggestions, as it is much easier to promote this event when we have a charity all picked out!! Last year, we raised $2734, so let's try and break that record this time! We will again sell tickets for a prize raffle and donate all the money, including the dyno run money to the charity. So, we will also need lots of good items donated for our prize raffle. Truck parts and gift certs are great, but prizes can also include gift certificates from restaurants and other stores. So, if you know of one you think might be willing to donate, please let either me or MikeL know.

So, please visit our club website Events forum and list your suggestions. Once we get a few, I will start a new thread on the website and we will all vote on which one to support this year.

Remember, this is NOT a CPSC event, but an all diesel event, so please everyone get involved.

RMTDR guys and friends,

This is our annual trek to Fort Collins and PFI for the Charity Dyno Day. This is the 3rd year we have done this event. I would like for everyone to at least plan on attending and doing what you can for donations. If there is a particular charity you have in mind, Please let Shay or myself know and we will put them on the voting list. The remaining details will be worked out as we go along. Let's make this the BIGGEST diesel truck sponsored CHARITY event in the state this year. Let's beat our amount last year for donations and really make a name for ourselves with this event. I am looking forward to this. We will plan further details over the coming weeks and months. Please get this day set aside on your calendars.

Hey Mike, I posted over on the Ford Board, but I would also like to do it here.

The Make a Wish Foundation of Colorado.

These good folks grant a wish to kids with a life-threatening illness up to the age of 18 years. This can be anything from a trip to Disney World, to meeting John Elway, to a computer system, riding in a firetruck, visiting the Peterbilt factory, etc. They even got a young girls father out of jail to visit her a few hours before she died. Man you ought to hear some of the stories. They are a good outfit and I would like to throw their hat in the ring. They are always looking for donations to offset their costs of granting these wishes.

Anyone interested in voting on a charity. Shay has a post going on the power stroke club web site now to do that. All would be good choices. Your input would be appreciated.
