Will 370 Injectors Do This? Side Effect.

4BTA dies after 1 hour run

I don't know what the DBa limit is but lots of guys do it. I don't see the cops bothering the harleys that sound like old roadgraders - and they're worse! Craig

Does anyone know if it is legal in Colorado to remover the muffler and pipe it?

Anyone done this?

Thanks

I was told by a friend that has a PSD that it is illegal to remove the muffler of a PSD due to it having a CAT. Because it has a CAT the truck has to have an opacity test and a visual acknowledgment of the parts.

NO my words are not written in concrete but this is what my friend was told by the emission station that he went to.

I believe it would all depend on where (which county) the truck is registered in. I know in Routt County, where Steamboat is, there are no inspections whatsoever. No emmissions, no visual inspections, you just get your stickers when you renew your vehicle's registration. It may be like that all throughout the mountains, but I am pretty sure all front range counties require visual emmissions inspections (not sure if they do an opacity test or not).

Texas Diesel,

WKener is right it all depends what country you live in. I live in Las Animas country and we have no emissions, no checks, nothing. . :D I was pulled over for the "noise:p " in Colo Springs which is El Paso county because my truck is straight piped. The less than friendly tree hugging officer gave me a tongue lashing about the noise and no emissions sticker. He was about to start writing me a ticket when he saw my registration and immediately knew he couldn't do squat:eek: He handed me back my information and walked back to his car without saying a word:D :) . I left before him and gave him a nice loud black smoke shower which I'm sure he enjoyed. Oo.

You guys are correct, I should have stated that it varies from county to county. I live in Adams county... . and everything between here, jeffco and denver sucks big for emissions!!

Thanks for clearing that up.
